Installation

Company of Heroes 2: Ardennes Assault Performance Tips
The most important factors in determining how smoothly Company of Heroes 2: Ardennes Assault plays are your CPU speed, the amount of built-in RAM, the type of graphics card in your computer and the in-game settings you select.
Company of Heroes 2: Ardennes Assault is playable with the minimum specifications listed below, but it will play more smoothly on faster computers with more RAM. However, if you are dissatisfied with the performance of the game on your computer, there are a couple of things you can do that are likely to improve performance:
- Close all other applications: You are strongly encouraged to quit all other applications before launching Company of Heroes 2: Ardennes Assault – other applications drain resources and slow the overall system performance.
- Clear disk space: Ensure that your main hard disk has plenty of spare disk space.
- If you have a second monitor, disconnect it (having an additional monitor connected to your Mac may create a drop in performance).
- If you are using a laptop, plug in your charger (running on battery power may create a drop in performance).
In addition to these general Mac actions, there are numerous specific in-game settings you can select to speed up the game. NOTE: All of these settings are found in either Company of Heroes 2: Ardennes Assault's pre-game Options window under the Display tab or within the game under Menu → Options → Graphics, accessible from the Main Menu.* The Gameplay Resolution setting changes the resolution of everything except the game’s interface (the HUD). If you wish to adjust the resolution while keeping the on-screen buttons, text and icons sharp and easy to read, you should adjust this setting. Conversely, the Display Resolution affects everything on screen.
Macintosh Specific Extras - Pre-game Options Window
Feral games come with a pre-game Options window. This window offers Mac-specific extra features, described below.
Extras Tab - iTunes Pausing
Selecting this feature will automatically pause any currently playing song in iTunes while Company of Heroes 2: Ardennes Assault is running. Playback will be resumed when the game is quit or paused.Extras Tab - iChat or Messages Away Status
Selecting this feature will automatically set your iChat (called 'Messages' in OS X 10.8 or later) status to 'away' while Company of Heroes 2: Ardennes Assault is running. You can select different 'away' messages from the pop-up menu. The 'away' options are taken from the user's iChat (or Messages) status listings.Support Tab - Support - A Helping Hand

To uninstall Company of Heroes 2: Ardennes Assault, follow these steps:
Double-click on the Steam application icon. By default this is located in the Applications folder on your computer's hard drive.
If you are not already signed in, the Steam Login dialog will appear. Enter your account name and password, then select Login.
The Steam application will launch. Select the Library tab.
In the library, right-click on Company of Heroes 2 - Ardennes Assault in the list of games on the left-hand side of the window, then select Uninstall....
A dialog will appear confirming that you wish to delete all the game content. Select Delete.

- The error message displayed when the problem occurred (if any).
- A Company of Heroes 2 Report.txt file. This contains:
- An Apple System Report of your Mac
- Any crash logs that exist for Company of Heroes 2: Ardennes Assault
- A list of the game's contents
All the information required can be obtained by opening Company of Heroes 2: Ardennes Assault and clicking on the Support tab in the Company of Heroes 2: Ardennes Assault pre-game Options window. In the Support tab, click on the Generate Report button. Once the report is generated it will appear as a file in your ~/Downloads folder (the “~” symbol refers to your home directory). Now click on the Create Email button. Remember to attach the Company of Heroes 2 Report.txt file to your email.In your email, please include a brief description of the problem you have experienced with Company of Heroes 2: Ardennes Assault.
